The Surface Laptop, Microsoft little MacBook Pro

After the success of the Surface Book and the Surface Pro, Microsoft has attempted to enter the laptop market.
Microsoft’s Surface Laptop is the first product in that category. This is a market that has been saturated with MacBooks and Chromebooks. However, the Surface Laptop
holds its own favorably with these devices. The laptop has been marketed at students, and the company has stated that it would last a student from their first day n class through to graduation with the same level of performance throughout.

This new laptop looks really nice. It is lighter than a 13-inch MacBook Pro, but heavier than a 12-inch MacBook. It has a
2,256×1,504 resolution display, with the same 3:2 aspect ratio as the Surface pro, which means that it looks more like
a square than most other laptops. Also, the device has a touchscreen, which supports the Surface pen. However, the screen does not fold back 360 degrees, unlike many pen-
enabled PCs. this makes drawing on the screen feel kind of awkward, but users will definitely get used to it.

However, the most striking feature of the Surface Laptop is the interior surface. The device is covered with an artificial
fabric material called Alcantara, which is made of polyester and polyurethane. This material was created in the seventies,
and it has been used in card and boats. The fabric material looks nice and relatively easy to clean, according to reports.

The device has a seventh-generation Core i5 processor, which is more than enough for most college or professional tasks. However, it only has Intel’s basic integrated graphics, therefore users would probably stay away from heavy gaming.

Furthermore, the Surface Laptop runs Microsoft’s Windows 10 S operating system, which allows only software from the official Windows app store to be installed. If you
want to install any external apps, you would need to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro.

Bottom line, the Surface Laptop is a great device. However, it is not exactly much different from the MacBook Pro and
others of that category, and there are some you can get for
less (it costs $1299).
