Privacy Shade app shields your device from prying eyes

Do you constantly find yourself trying to shield your chats from strangers in public places? If so, you are not alone. I have come across several people who complained of nosy
strangers peeking into their smartphones whenever they try to do anything on the bus, in a waiting area or some similar place. Fortunately, there’s now an app to deter these people from looking in on your chats. Blackberry has released a new app that helps do just that. The app is called Privacy Shade.

BlackBerry is big on smartphone privacy and security. In recent times, the company has made a switch from manufacturing smartphones to developing cross-platform software. This new app lets Android smartphone and tablet
users control the visibility of sensitive content.

Basically, Privacy Shade allows you to browse through your personal or sensitive info and content like text messages and email without letting people around you see your private
information. The app works by casting a shade on the parts you are not currently looking at. You can interact with the
obscured parts too. Furthermore, you can adjust the transparency of the obscured parts to suit your taste.

Blackberry has made Privacy Shade work with the quick settings on Android Nougat. Also, if you use a Blackberry device with a Convenience Key, you can assign Privacy
Shade to the that key. Right now, the app is available on the Google Play Store.
