Nokia To Launch Up To Five (5) Phones In 2017

Nokia is really trying to put up a fightback which they will do in 2017 to get back to the hearts of phone users – in this case, smartphone users – just as they were some years ago – before 2004.
Their strategy to achieve this might be what they are currently planning to do as reports has it that they are going to launch up to five (5) new smart phones at the World Mobile Congress, in February next year.

While details of these phones have not been made public, we have heard of two of them. Though, we are still in doubt if those two will be the flagship phones of 2017 which we really doubt. It is very possible that they have something more surprising and mouth watering in store for us – I hope so too.
The Nokia D1C, which we have heard of will be launched in two versions based on the amount of memory and display size. The most expensive of the two variants will cost $200, and it will come with 3GB of RAM and a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) display.

The cheaper version is rumored to cost just $150, but it will pack just 2GB RAM and a smaller 5-inch display with full HD (1080p) resolution and will ship with Android 7.0 Nougat right out of the box.

Nokia D1C is going to be one of the first Nokia Android Phones to be launched as per this tip. It will be revealed to the world at MWC 2017. Again as claimed in another interview, Nokia Android Phones should be available very soon post their launch.
Well, we can only wish they launch something mind boggling which would be able to compete actively with the big players in the game. If not, I don’t see Nokia coming back to the heart of customers when it comes to phones, maybe they can try something else.

HMD’s CEO Arto Nummela:

Also, I need to mention that the HMD global, the company with the right to make Nokia branded phones really mean business if we’re to judge with the way they’ve been making headline. Truth be told, they really need the publicity.

Do you have any thoughts about how well these upcoming Nokia phones would perform once they are launched at the World Mobile Congress next year? Do you think they can stand the fierce competition in the smartphone market? Let’s hear your thoughts.
